I have never seen a former CIA Director trash a President in power.
Notice how he disrespects President Trump, by addressing him as "Mr. Trump" instead of President Trump.

That was pretty much standard for GW as well, he was usually referred to as Mr. Bush or the President. It was required like a political scandal must identify the party in the first paragraph if it involves a republican, if democrat party, identification is optional in the last paragraph.
