Israeli and American Jews are deeply divided on issues related to President Trump, according to a new poll from the American Jewish Committee (AJC).
More than three-quarters (77 percent) of Israeli Jews surveyed said they approved of U.S.-Israeli relations under Trump, while only 34 percent of American Jews said they felt the same way.
Over half 57 percent of American Jews said they disapproved of Trump's handling of U.S.-Israeli relations, while just 10 percent of Israeli Jews said the same.
The poll also revealed a significant split between Israeli and U.S. Jews on the U.S. embassy's move to Jerusalem.
Eight-five percent of Israeli Jews said they supported the embassy's relocation, while 46 percent of American Jews said the same.
The poll comes a month after the U.S. embassy opened in Jerusalem, sparking mass protests from Palestinians who view East Jerusalem as the capital of a future independent Palestinian state.

The American Jewish Committee does not reflect the views of Orthodox Jews. It is a libtard organization representing the highly assimilated American “jews” who barely know anything about Judaism outside of what a bagel is. They might not even be Jews if they are the product of intermarriage. Since they do not identify with being a Jew, it is hardly surprising that you’d get stats like that.
American Jews = JINOs
So to many,"Jew" is an ethnicity rather than a religious affiliation.
Counting JINOs as Jews is like counting Nancy Pelosi as Catholic. invalid sampling , statistically biased, invalid May as well count HilLIARy as honest, obama as American, Mad Maxine Waters as sane, and McShame as respectable
I don’t hear those arguments when there are Catholic polls. I just see Catholic bashing
This poll reflects the fact that so many American Jews are in line with the RATS. They don’t see the anti-semitism in the democRATS. They’ll come around eventually.
agreed But including patently non- believing people in a polling sample of Catholics ( or Jews) is invalid on its face - and obviously fated, if not designed, to seriously skew or falsify the results
...some 31% of American Jews said they did not consider Israeli Jews as part of their family at all, compared to 22% of Israeli Jews who felt similarly about US Jews...
Sadly, there’s nothing new here ... i REALLY wish American Jews would wise-up ... as a group, their fundamental values of family, education, hard work, etc. are substantially more aligned with Trumpism than the far-left fascism the Dem party has embraced ... it’s actually astonishing that the rapidly growing anti-semitism in the Dem party and the U.S. education complex are being ignored by most American Jews ...
Are Israeli Jews and American Jews deeply divided withe one another on abortion, the United States building a wall on its border with Mexico, gay marriage, tranny rights, gun control, etc ... Or is their only disagreement over support for Israel? I keep seeing how there’s a divide based on religious observance, but are Israelis more religious?
One group of Jews has had rockets fired at them. The other, not.
Most American jews don’t really care about Israel. their religion is leftism, not Judaism.
A suspect poll taken by a left leaning Jewish organization.
Probably true. But, even at that, if we now have at least 34% of American Jews approving of Trump, that is major progress.
They voted for Soetoro. Delusional.
The large and growing reform component of American Jewishness is more into LGBT and global warming than the Torah. They won’t lift a finger to help their brothers in the Holy Land.
34% of American Jews supporting Trump’s handling of U.S. Israel relations is a significant improvement.
According to Jewish law, if a person's mother is a Jew, they are a Jew. If the father is a Jew and the mother is a non-Jew, the person is NOT a Jew. End of story.
Since they do not identify with being a Jew, it is hardly surprising that youd get stats like that. There are many Americans who identify as Jews but do not embrace Orthodoxy.
Sure, there are many Americans who identify as Jews--but if their mother is not a Jew, they are not a Jew, no matter what they identify as.
The American Jewish Committee was, for many years, very concerned that American Jews not be perceived as very different from their fellow American neighbors. There was a great movement by the AJC advocating assimilation. Their leadership and therefore their aim changed, but it is still basically all about involving more diverse groups identifying as Jews and making sure they stay within the fold. By no means do they have an Orthodox viewpoint or advocate an Orthodox Jewish lifestyle.
