Well, no. He was alive during WW2 so you can’t compare people who think they’ve vicariously suffered for something that happened to their ancestors (and who attribute vicarious guilt to others who’ve done no wrong themselves) to him.
But you could compare a WW2 French or Polish collaborator who tries to play it down because they were young.
He misrepresents himself as a Holocaust survivor. He was never in any trouble as a jew. I wonder how much more of his background is phoney also. He is a snot! He is now pushing the kind of government that impinged upon his family in Hungary back then. He has no scruples when it comes to power. Unfortunately, he has the financial resourses to push his twisted idea of the world as he sees it.
And seemed to enjoy it.
