There do seem to be more pressing things for the Attorney General to be concerned with, namely his Department running amuck.

The only explanation that makes sense is if this is calculated to have a specific blowback, which then provides an impetus for policy change in the form of public awareness and support, to be acted on. That he hasn’t in reality prosecuted anyone based on the announced policy is possible supporting evidence of this hypothesis.

This REALLY pisses me off. Sessions is going after pot, an issue few people really care about, while ignoring the important stuff like Killary, Awans, nobama, et al.

Admittedly, Sessions did make a half-hearted attempt at squashing MS13 but I haven’t seen any follow up.

Maybe he is too focused on all on the crime in rural Oregon against the massive local absentee landlord....

This is like a rancher loosing 5 head of cattle a night and hiring people to arrest that rat snake stealing two chicken eggs a night.

He’s finishing up on the indictments of Obama, Clintons, and Lynch and Rice. Takes up all of his time.

Mr. Sessions’ own prosecutors have yet to bring federal charges against pot businesses that are abiding by state law

And who or what has been put in jail with this clown. FOR ANYTHING! This is getting to be a real joke.

The only part of the headline that's correct:

"Jeff Sessions Struggles..."

Struggles to do 2% of what he's supposed to be doing in that office. Struggles to appear to be doing something useful for the U.S. Struggles to look the other way while the Deep State fiddles.

Just why do WE need to "struggle" along with this loser?

Here is another theory: Sessions is playing the bad cop role.

Trump cannot do nothing, so Sessions is a place holder who takes the blame for doing nothing.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions vowed to use federal law to get tough on marijuana...

Yeah, he's going to have a tough time cracking down on marijuana laws with no funding from Congress per the Rohrbacker-Blumenauer amendment, previously known as the the Rohrabacher-Farr amendment.

The Rohrabacher-Blumenauer amendment, is an amendment to the annual appropriations bill that prohibits the Department of Justice from using federal funds to interfere with state-legal medical marijuana programs.

On Jan. 12, 2018, a bipartisan group of 69 members sent a letter to Congressional leadership urging them to include the McClintock-Polis amendment in the appropriations bill as well. Introduced by Reps. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) and Jared Polis (D-Colo.), its language is similar the Rohrabacher-Blumenauer amendment’s, but it would also protect legal state recreational cannabis programs.
