The USS James E Carter flew a Jolly Roger flag when they returned to port. On 12/4/17 Korea had a big boom. There are no coincidences.
It's the USS Jimmy Carter (SSN23) actually and this article explores some of the possible reasons they might have been flying the Jolly Roger:

Omg. I remember that flag and the discussion here. It all makes sense...
USS Jimmy Carter is the follow-on to the Parche, the most decorated sub ever. An attack sub built expressly for inserting and extracting commandos and other very stealthy stuff. And we do have a little advertised United States Space Command in the Dept of Defense that doesn’t advertise whatever it is that they do. Maybe Rods from God, we just don’t know.
Either or both could be involved. I do suspect that the Oct 10th earthquake had help from us because there certainly was an unprecedented change of attitude in Norkland in its wake. Only Trump and his commanders, and little Kim and his generals, know for sure if the quake had help and they aren’t talking.
But if it was our doing then for the first time in 70 yrs the Norks were confronted with someone who was willing to outdo them in violence and I bet they never expected to be confronted with that. Particularly if it was followed by a message containing the coordinates of all their palatial homes and a note saying “Next time it’s you”.
Instead of humiliating them Trump is offering them a face saving defeat, a military defeat that doesn’t look like a defeat on the surface. We are offering them something along the lines of what a Mexican drug cartel offers- gold or lead, your choice. But either way we are imposing our will on you and North Korea ceases to be a problem. Choose door #1 and you live to enjoy the change, choose door #2 and the change happens without you living to see it.
Incidentally the most vocal hawk advocating a military confrontation with North Korea, more so than Donald Trump, was General McMaster. He was saying that stuff well before anyone ever dreamed that Trump would be President, or that he would work for Trump. It’s a stretch to believe that he didn’t have a war plan gamed out for a situation that he insisted had to be confronted. He retired as NSA this spring, after little Kim was making nice with his neighbors and with us. “There are no coincidences.”
