For some, 2018 has been a year of disappointing clarity. Speaking from his hotel suite by Lake Zurich, billionaire patron of liberal causes George Soros lamented the fate of the globalized world. "Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong," he said:
His favored presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, lost to President Donald Trump, whose "America First" platform runs counter to the globalism Soros embraces. Trump, he said, "is willing to destroy the world." The European Union, which Soros once hoped would be so successful that he could end his charitable work in the region, is contending with the impending loss of Britain and a rise of anti-immigrant sentiment. And Soros himself has emerged as a political target in elections from Hungary to California, where his donations have been used as a cudgel against the causes he supports.
Though Soros defiantly vowed to double down on his efforts despite setbacks, Reihan Salam of The Atlantic is willing to consider the alternative: maybe globalization itself, or at least the way it was implemented, was a big mistake. Salam argues it facilitated Beijing's entry into corporate networks which now constitute "Chimerica," the meld of multinational corporations with "China-centric supply chains" that, like Frankenstein's monster, Washington can no longer rid themselves of.

The world will be one where old, tried and tested truths determine actions. It will be one where wisdom is drawn from history and the deepest wellsprings of intelligence. It will be one where discipline and morality determine character. The new world order will be where the old NWO comes to die.
Interesting the not-so-subtle propaganda on the Asian poster: 6 foot + Trump is drawn much smaller compared to the very short Kim!
Imagine Soros accusing someone else of being ‘willing to destroy the world.’
Hoping that soros can leave the world that he hates so much.
Did I miss the discussion of wanting a global government?
Forget it, this topic isn’t for minions like me. I don’t know what is right.
So, Soros is the Dotard?
I could easily see a ‘United Countries of Earth’ constitution based on the “United states of America” Constitution. Our document is a pretty damn good example of how to run a government. (if we would only follow it)
But yes, it was “the way they tried to implement it”. Doing stuff in secret and cramming down the throats of people is NOT ever going to get you many friends for your cause.
It may be an acquired taste, but it’s very good and healthy. Not that easy to make well, though.
That’s what I’ve always thought; One “world”, as long as it’s based on the same principles as our founding and Constitution are, doesn’t bother me.
It’s the “One World” that is the goal of individuals who want power, wealth, and ideological domination over others that scares me.
It may be an acquired taste, but its very good and healthy. Not that easy to make well, though.
Maybe it’s something that keeps it at an ideal fermentation temperature? My experiences with making it myself have been mediocre; fortunately I can find good stuff in the local markets - *almost* as good a Korean Grandma’s home-made.

Not quite George.
Trump is willing to destroy your world.
And I am with him on that.
No, this is more like what I had seen. Thing is there were four or five different models on display and as you can see on Amazon, they aren’t exactly cheap.
