United States President Donald Trump has officially met and shaken hands with North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un at Capella Hotel in Singapore.
Chairman Kim, wearing his signature black suit, arrived at the hotel first at 8:53 am local time. President Trump, wearing a red tie, arrived shortly afterward.

They walked to a red carpeted, white colannade area of the hotel separately and met in front of North Korea and United States flags. They shook hands at 9:04 am and turned to their right.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. President," Kim said.

Kim walked first with Trump closely behind. Two interpreters met them in the hallway and went with them to a meeting room. Reporters were allowed in for a brief statement from Trump and Kim, then the two leaders proceeded to their private meeting.
“I feel really great. It’s gonna be a great discussion and I think tremendous success," Trump said. "I think it’s gonna be really successful and I think we will have a terrific relationship I have no doubt.”
"Well, it was not easy to get here," Kim said. "There were obstacles but we overcame them to be here."

The private meeting between Trump and Kim is scheduled for 45-minutes. After that, senior White House aides and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will enter the room for an expanded bilateral meeting and working lunch.
When the summit is over, President Trump will give a press conference to local and traveling press. He will leave Singapore around 8 pm local time in route back to the United States.
This is a breaking story, stay tuned for updates. This post has been updated with additional information.
Staggering.
Who ever would have thought?
Something big is on the horizon folks. Imagine for a moment a North Korea run like China economy wise. Everything could change; everything.
This timeline; I still can’t wake up..
Kim desperately needs a new haircut.
Were I Donald, I’d send him Trump One (757). He’s not using it much these days.
“No need to slum on that old Rooskie 727 clone nor the Chicom 747!
I've had internal giggles thinking of Kim and Donald's barbers holding a meeting at some point.
Several months ago I predicted that the U.S. and North Korea would have full diplomatic relations in place by the 2020 election. Donald Trump has accomplished more in 500 days than most leaders accomplish in a lifetime.
don’t be hating the ‘dos! LOL
Did Kim give the English statement himself, or was that an interpreter?
and for the first time ever, a generation is watching this in real time.
Also of note, DRod has gone full MAGA in a huge way - Obama didn’t have time for him.
Quite a day indeed.
I am not exactly sure, you want to use China as an example.
Just saying.
That would be a great comedy routine.
It was a terp. The most interesting part to me was when they were sitting down after the handshake in the ‘library’. Trump made the comment on terrific relationship. As the camera crews were leaving, Trump made a joke to Kim. It was clearly a inside joke to them and it was toward the press. Good stuff.
I saw Trumps T-Bird sitting on the tarmac when I flew into LaGuardia airport last week. Its a beautiful plane and loved seeing it pull up into his campaign rallies in 2016.
When he said it was not easy getting here he was not talking logistics. He was talking about removing the old guard
Can you beleive it..?!
RIGHT when Rodman details how Obama gave him the brush-off, they edit in a distracting sound:

My Dad served In Korea before and following the armistice. Seeing a U.S. President shaking hands with Kim... Think of it. Truman, Roosevelt, JFK, LBJ, Nixon/Ford, Regan.... Clinton, the Bushes. The Great Nigerian Pretender... None of them accomplishded what Trump has.
Quite a scene. Ashame the U.S.medka is openly rooting for failure. Wait until it goes from good optics to great policy on the Peninsula. I was not sure what to expect from Trump, but thank God he President.
This is amazing. I’ve waited my whole adult life for what Trump is doing now for this country and the world. I almost cannot believe it.

This is pretty big...just heard on Ingram Show on Fox that the North Korean State media has announced to the people of NK that Kim is in Singapore negotiating with President Trump on denuclearization. Now it makes more sense that he axed the top 3 military guys a few weeks ago and we probably can say with good faith that China dropped the hammer on Kim.
It’s all coming together!
