Millennials expect to make it big some day, with more than half reporting that they believe they will eventually become millionaires, according to a new study.
Despite having crushing student loans (20 percent never expect to pay them off), credit card and other debt, people born between 1982 and 2000 share a confidence when it comes to their financial outlook.
'Young people are optimistic about the future,' said JJ Kinahan, chief strategist for TD Ameritrade, in a statement on the company's new report. 'On average, survey respondents expect to land a job in their chosen field and be completely financially independent by age 25.'

Im already a billionaire. I carry the Zimbabwe bill in my billfold. It wouldnt by an egg by the time I bought it but that doesnt diminish the fact that I am a billionaire!
They will blame everyone else when it doesn’t magically happen and demand the government step in to save them.
My experience with millennial’s is that they are more driven than the generation before them but they binge on conspiracies and outright kookery. They also think that everyone except them should have more virtue.
Considering how many of their peers want Venezuela style socialism they may get to be billionaires should those get their way ... and just able to afford some groceries.
Given enough inflation well all be millionaires.
It is inevitable that at some point inflation will come roaring back.
Being a millionaire today is not the accomplishment it was 50 years ago.
If one saves and invests their money it is not that strange to retire as a millionaire now ... much less in 30 years from now.

Upon seeing the ‘headline’ I was going to comment that before long 1 mill will be about the same as 10 grand was back in the late 60s, early 70s....
That was the goal....hmm 200 per week..a dream worth striving for....
now hardly worth getting out of bed for less than 200 per day
Well, actually anyone can be as long as they work and save.... regardless of the job they hold.. but you have to save from day one and do it consistently
