Hunt Presses Jordan on Whether Stricter Immigration Law Is 'Christian'
Newsbusters ^ | une 12, 2018 | Brad Wilmouth

As Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan appeared as a guest on Tuesday's MSNBC Live, fill-in host Kasie Hunt repeatedly pressed her GOP guest on whether his conservative agenda on immigration reform was consistent with "christianity" -- a religion-based angle one would not hear a Democrat being pressed on by journalists on issues like, say, abortion.

Yeah, Kasie Hunt, Defender of the Faith, but ONLY when convenient on TV to defend liberalism. BTW, I thought liberals are against mixing religion and politics. I guess an exception is made when religion is used as a very temporary club to hit conservatives over the head with.

Christianity is okay when it jibes with liberalism.

I was about to say the same thing, but you hit the nail on the head there. Christianity is all well and good when it can be used to support ‘their’ values, but when it comes to other issues, it’s ‘get that kooky religion out of my government’. Bunch of hypocrites. Wish that people would start calling them out on that.

Christ’s Kingdom is not of this world Kasie.
God raises up nations, but nations are seperate from the Church.
So your question is not relevant.
What would be relevant is whether or not immigration enforcement is Constitutional.

Lawlessness is very unChristian.

Democrats fraudulently passed laws they never intended to be kept.

They turn every negotiation into one-sided deals because they selectively implement and enforce laws.

The Obama administration brought the full weight of the federal government down on any local authority attempting to follow federal law on immigration.

Now, Democrat-run cities and states are fighting tooth and nail to resist immigration law.

Poor people are trekking across continents in hopes of economic relief because the Democrats have enticed them to be lawless.

And this puts everyone in great danger.

No, the Democrats lawless immigration stance is very unChristian as well as harmful to society.

And this they do, like Judas, not because they care for the poor, but because they are thieves who only want to gain power and wealth for themselves. Their crocodile tears don’t fool people who know them for what they are: murderers of babies, corrupter of youth, exposing youth to perverts and enticing or coercing the youth into immorality and perversions.

I saw this astounding silliness - only to try to embarrass Jordan - his answer should have been that perhaps it escaped her attention, but our country and government are by design to be free of specific influence by any religion, Christian or otherwise - whether the policy is Christian or not is not a consideration......

That is exactly what happens, they work for nothing and firms who stay legal pay more to hire citizens.

We have legal immigration, which I don’t think anyone is against. I don’t see how illegal immigration lines up with Christian values.

When did Christianity start requiring open borders, where Muslims can move-in en masse and vote native Christians out of their religion?
