O’Donnell accomplished what she needed to do: stopping the execrable RINO Mike Castle from getting the Senate nomination. Castle did more than any other “Republican” to destroy the party as a viable opposition in Delaware.
I believe she did have a chance to win, but the party establishment went insane because she took out their boy Castle and did everything they could to sandbag her, a la Palin.

After that “witch” nonsense, no she didn’t have a chance. A conservative could have won, if they were pristine and a strong candidate, which she was not and that’s on her not on anyone else.
I was an early backer here on FR, decent looking woman against an arch-RINO, of course I was. But to have it do over again I would have backed Castle.
Palin...fell out of love with her a long time ago, I’m glad she wasn’t given a post in the administration.
