Hes got a resume that includes pimping, owning a brothel and starring in his own adult reality show and he could be the next representative in the Nevada state legislature. Dennis Hof took the GOP primary Tuesday night, The Reno Gazette-Journal reported.
Hof beat James Oscarson, a three-term incumbent, for the nomination.
Hof, also known by a few as the author of The Art of the Pimp, says he owes his electoral triumph to President Donald Trumps inspiration.
Its all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me, Hof informed the Associated Press. He found the way and I jumped on it.
Hof even describes himself as The Trump of Pahrump because Hof lives in Pahrum, Nevada. In a state where the economy runs on gambling, the odds are good for Hof to win his district against Democratic challenger Lesia Romanov. Oscarson won the last state election with 60 percent of the vote.

FR disagreeing with prostitution and saying it’s wrong doesn’t mean people don’t have aright to engage in it. If everything we thought was immoral was wrong, we would need three times the cops and pay that much more in taxes to enforce our loral code.
I did not denigrate his activities. Nor did I write the article. ;-)
Well, it’s where we reside so..............
“I’ve asked how this is conservative, Christian, Republican, etc.”
Well, part of Republicanism is respecting the freedom of states and localities to make their own laws on things that do not conflict with Federal jurisdiction. Things like prostitution.
Don’t like their laws? Go ahead and move there and campaign to change em. Or you can just gripe about it on the internet, I guess.
Kinda hard to mount any kind of discussion about the issue if you insist on conflating the current thread with others in which you’ve participated.
This thread is the first I’ve engaged on the subject, and frankly you come off sounding like an authoritarian.
And that is not authoritarian to reject prostitution and the profits from it. It is not authoritarian to say it is not compatible. Nor, if you take a step back, is it authoritarian to say such support is damaging to conservatives, Christians, and Republicans.
Please explain how this is authoritarian.
Calling for ostracism from engaging in the political contest based on sectarian standards is authoritarian by definition.
One does not have to oppose prostitution, support Christianity, or support any other school of conservative thought to be a "conservative," let alone Republican.
Heller vs. Dem, NO DIFFERENCE. Heller is Never Trumper and PRO AMNESTY and PRO OBAMACARE. I WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM. PERIOD. Even with Trumps endorsement. Aint happening. And if Republicans lose the Senate because Heller loses, so be it. We must draw the line and reject Never Trumper and especially Pro Amnesty, Pro ObamaCare RINO Republicans.
RE: I think I’d have to agree..
>> If a republican can’t support at least one or two of the following positions; End DACA, Secure the border unconditionally, End chain migration, Manditory E-verify, End anchor babies/birthright citizenship, deportation on contact by any agency, no benefits to illegals(beyond emergency care) THEN we should vote DEM just to prevent the undocumented dem - in an R jersy - from becoming an entrenched incumbent.

So , how’s that for a “New Buckley Rule” ?
Seems right. At least the Democrat is being honest with their party affiliation.
