One early ploy tried - I believe it was by Jake Tapper - was that other Presidents "could have done the same thing but chose not to." We didn't hear much of that after the obvious and nearly unanimous reply, "and why not?" The answer we were offered was as lame as it comes: "Because it would have made him look equal to the United States," as if the frequency of a country's flags on the podium makes the slightest significant difference in the calculus of nuclear destruction.
Yes, the U.S. media look disgraceful on this and deservedly so. Apparently they don't care. Or, full of self-importance and a bloated illusion of their own power, they are no longer even capable of knowing.
The democrats were never sincere with the “no nukes” chant. That was to take nukes from the USA, so that it would be conquered by communists and cease to be a free market economy.

The left knows that Clinton and Obama failed miserably with North Korea and the Iran deal has been flushed down the toilet. Besides, any common enemy to America is a friend of the left. That is how sick they are.
