"Nonetheless, the suggestion in certain Russia- related text messages in August 2016 that Strzok might be willing to take official action to impact presidential candidate Trump’s electoral prospects caused us to question the earlier Midyear investigative decisions in which Strzok was involved, and whether he took specific actions in the Midyear investigation based on his political views."

Maybe little things like not putting the suspect under oath when being questioned? Or granting multiple aids immunity and allowing them to sit in during the interview? None of that struck the OIG as obvious bias and a departure from protocol?

I hope these "investigators" stay well clear of railroad crossings because I doubt they would have the sense to get out of the way........

I know the IG can't indict or prosecute, but he can make criminal referrals to the DOJ for prosecution.

But he didn't. And I am disappointed.

One of Horowitz's recommendations is to investigate the five FBI agents he found who had sent "hostile" political messages. How many times do they have to investigate this criminal activity before there are indictments and prosecutions?

Becoming jaded to this Deep State BS.

Becoming disinterested in the whole affair if this gives everybody, especially Hillary, a get out of jail free card. Handing them out like candy at a Monopoly game.

Comey's already been fired. He's only getting a slap on the wrist. Bad boy. Go sit in the corner. Maybe he won't be so lucky with the next report.

This next report will have had the prosecutor attached to the IG's investigation, the guy in Salt Lake City. Maybe some criminals referrals out of the next one. Maybe they're white washing won't be so white.

But I'm starting to think now, that it's all over but the packing. Nothing will come of any of this, except some minor players who are always selected to be thrown under the bus or to fall on their swords, whichever the case may require.

The fix is in. The die is cast. This report is a weak whitewash.

Trump can do what we wants.

He can fire Sessions and get a real tiger in there as Attorney General, and start mass swamp creature indictments.

His call.
