I’m in Michigan and have been tempted to get medical marijuana certification because of chronic nausea and lack of appetite. I don’t really want to smoke it and have researched other forms of consumption. Should I ever decide to get a doctor’s approval, I would be inclined to try edibles. I’m not even sure they’re available here but it seems like they would be.

I have a friend who uses CBD oil topically for pain. She said it helps. She has lupus.

Looks like recreational marijuana will be on the ballot this November. There are many more marijuana shops in my vicinity than bars. The ratio is at least 10:1.

I would try vaping as well. No smoke is involved and the smell released is really minimal.

Most people would seek out edibles with THC in it, however, Marijuana can be eaten raw too, the actual plant. If you were to eat the plant, it’s important that it be fully dried out, like crumbly or flakey dried out. Green leaves are hard to digest.

I recall eating some small amount of MJ decades ago.
What I recall the most was that it can take a while before one feels any effects from the substance. It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on how sensitive you are to that grade of THC.

Another recollection; after I had achieved a mild sensation from ingesting the herb, the effect would slowly decline then stop. Guess what though? With some kinds of marijuana, the sensation of being relaxed and such could be REVIVED hours later, as soon as you eat or drink some additional food. Not as strong as the first time, mind you, but I do recall the mild rumble and ‘aftershock’ when I had breakfast the next day. This was in the ‘Stoned’ Age of the 70’s.
I have no idea what is being consumed nowadays.
