Therein lies the fundamental problem. What rationale is there for launching an "investigation" and wasting millions of taxpayer money when there was no crime?
Fake law, infinitely more dangerous than fake news, is emotion-based and emotional reaction based “common sense”, instead fact and truth based actual common sense.
The RAT plan to get Trump was simple:
1. Get Trump to fire Comey
2. Get Rosenstein to appoint a special prosecutor
3. Get the special prosecutor to piss off Trump so bad that Trump fires the special prosecutor
4. Then get Trump impeached and convicted for his "Saturday night massacre."
But Trump stopped at (1). Now the RATS are screwed. If they can only get Trump to fire somebody, anybody, then they can get him.
