Are you a Trump-supporting Christian? Frank Schaeffer calls you a “Jesus-hating,” child-abuse condoning, “pimp of evil.”
A guest on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show today, Schaeffer unleashed an angry jeremiad against Christians who support President Trump and his immigration policies:
“Christians who still support Trump, who is separating mothers from babies, are now condoning a form of child abuse . . . I can’t think of anything that would be more Jesus-hating . . . There are going to be repercussions for the Republican party that has gone along like pimps of evil with this President.”

Substitute a two words.

This kind of hyperbole is shameful. Shaking my head.
A secure border would prevent most of these situations and more importantly prevent “families” from making the dangerous journey to begin with thereby endangering their children and risking separation.
It becomes more obvious each week that many of them DO NOT want any solution. They believe it more to their own benefit (not the people they claim to care about) to say things like this and blame Trump.

To a Democrat, all other loyalties are subordinate to party loyalty.

Franky Schaeffer. Psssh! Professional Christian back in the day, wrapped up in his self-importance, now “an atheist who believes in God,” always struggling to become relevant. Converts to Orthodoxy and becomes one of those who presumes to tell a 2000-year-old church how to run the show.
If he doesn’t drink, maybe he should take it up, just to take some of the edge off. One thing I’ve noticed about him, even before he turned to the dark side, is his intense anger. I read one of his books once. Well, I tried to read it, anyway. I just imagined him pounding the hell out of his typewriter as he composed.
