Why was this feral’s hands free enough to grab a weapon?
That's the question. If he was being taken to court then the only explanation is that somehow he got one of the deputies weapons. The question is how.
I can’t help but wonder about the physical stature, (height, weight, fitness) of the 2 deputies. I know the standards are not what they used to be. And just being a woman is a disadvantage in hand to hand and weapons retention. Which of the two were overpowered?
Good question. I'm not a police officer. But I've seen that TV show Cops. When a cop escorts a suspect, it's often with the cop's holstered gun between him and the bad guy. Why do they do that? Shouldn't it be standard procedure for the cop to stand so his gun is not next to the suspect? Perhaps some LEO Freeper can address this.
Here's what I mean. Take a look at the cop on the right. His gun is just inches away from the suspect's hands. If that suspect can wiggle out of his cuffs, he can get that gun in a second.
