I began listening to him back in January, and haven’t missed an episode...
He knows what he is talking about.
I really like his positive attitude.
I, too, listen to his podcasts every night. Sometimes he gets into the weeds, but, he knows his stuff. He used to fill in for Mark Levin on occasion, and still does. I love the way he spins a phrase.
He emailed her the whole time on her private server, under a pseudonym.

Missing: major
I am working my way through Black Swan right now. His style seems quite unorthodox to me, which I I like. (I already know how orthodox I am...I appreciate unorthodoxy in people like him because it allows him to expand my horizons.)
Much of what he says (so far) seems like common sense to me, which makes me hopeful I understand him correctly.
Very interesting. And even though I had heard of Teleb’s work, I had never read any of it, so Bongino gave me my first contextual exposure to Taleb past “Oh yeah, he wrote “The Black Swan” and is a modern conservative philosopher...”
It is why I come to Free Republic and listen to podcasts from Bongino-it gives me exposure to aspects of culture and thought that it would have taken me far longer to come across on my own.

I don't know what episode of his podcast it was, but in it, he was talking about Obama's lawyer Kathryn Ruemmler and how she has shown up at every where Obama was going to get his own stinking sewage of corruptions and ineptitude splashed on himself, and she was there to clean it up....
He referred to Kathryn Ruemmler as..."The Fixer"!
As he described these incidents, he would say in that high-pitched voice "Watch for The Fiiiiiiiiixxxxer!" and how Kathryn Rummemmler would just suddenly appear in all these seemingly unrelated things.
Every time he would say it, I would find myself grinning and nearly giggling at it. Boy, does he know how to make a point...you could easily seem him interrogating a suspect or witness, and poking them until they were ready to kill him or themselves!
I never read Black Swan but I know the theory. So great that NN Taleb is one of us...basically.
I got two quotes from his book today:
"One thousand days may not prove you right, but one day can prove you wrong."
"You know what is wrong with a lot more confidence than you know what is right."
It just seems like commonsense, as a lot of things do once you know of them...:)
Libertarianism is great in small principled doses. Dan Bongino is also like this. He keeps calling libs police staters for the way they love using the FBI and DOJ to maliciously prosecute and bankrupt Trump associates. The Truth!
There are fewer crazy open borders type libertarians each year. Same for free trade libertarians.
His Podcast is excellent.
