Yes, Hillary has been protected as everyone here has said. However, James Comey could never prosecute anyone who was doing the same thing as he was doing. Comey used private email for official business so that’s why he said Hillary didn’t mean to commit a crime. Neither did he in his mind.
Comey used a private email but he did not have a private server. Perhaps a distinction without a difference.
