We go to West End on Grand Bahama.

Did catch a Blue Marlin there a few years ago, but have also started to do deep dropping especially for yellow eyed snappers. One of my favorite eating fish...

Had more luck with Wahoo in Abacos, but going to give high speed a go this time , along with a try for Tuna . We tend to catch more blackfins as the run is shorter from our group spot compared to heading for the channel which would be 1/2 the distance of the total trip over.

Goal is have enough for a group fish fry , so in essence catch as many as you can to share.

10 boats going over....

Wow that ought to be great, over here 12 1/2 knots is preferred trolling speed for wahoo with consideration to current and wind.We ubuild wahoo rods they are big an bold and able to withstnad a hit impact from a wahoo running at 30 mph to a bait being trolled 12 1/2 knots.Impact is impressive, first run phenomenal from a big fish.
