The central IG question is: why didn’t the FBI take immediate action to review 725,000 Clinton-centric emails on the Huma/Weiner laptop? Why did they wait a month before seeking a search warrant? Why were they doing nothing?

Same reason they didn't get search warrants (ever) for the six laptops. They didn't want to investigate Hillary and find wrongdoing. So they did nothing and figured they would get away with it. In the case of the Wiener laptop: The SSA told us that he felt like NYO had done its job reporting the information to FBI Headquarters and he “assumed they were doing something.” (yeah, wink wink)

If I remember correctly, detectives at the NYPD were getting angry at the FBI for sitting on the Weiner laptop issue, and were threatening to go public, no?

I really think had it not been for the NYPD hanging on to the laptop and threatening basically to release the info the FBI would have covered up the Hillary e-mail thing just like they did Seth Rich and pretendeld like it never happened or it was impossible to find the killer in his case.

They are Corrupt as hell. Question is how many are and how deep?
