I actually have stopped listening to all the popular music of my youth.
I’ve found that to be the case for me too. But I played in a few classic rock bands. I’ve gigged over 400 of them and just got burned out. What’s kind of odd is that it’s caused me to like the ones I never (or rarely) played and I like them for the same reason someone may like a fully restored older car. Stuff like The Monkees, Strawberry Alarm Clock, etc. Kinda weird.
