One can hope, but it is not likely to happen any time soon. The SPLC is primarily a fund raising organization that solicits donations from hate filled liberals by libeling conservatives and Christians and then uses those funds to enrich the founders Morris Dees, Joe Levin and Julian Bond. To quote Terry Goodkind "People are stupid. They will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true.” This is the dynamic exploited by the SPLC
