Trump's Attacks on Germany-The Enemy in the White House
Spiegel Online ^ | 6/20/2018 | Stefan Kuzamny

Posted on 06/20/2018 9:02:55 AM PDT by LiberalismDestroys

Regarding Donald Trump's intentions, by contrast, there can no longer be any doubt. Since taking office, he has carried out a scorched-earth policy against multi-lateral treaties of all kinds. He is a man with no interest in foreign policy, seeing it merely as an instrument to pursue his "America First" ideology. He views cooperation as a weakness, the latest proof being the US withdrawal from the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Trump acts quite openly. And now, the American president has turned his attentions toward launching a disinformation campaign against Germany. He is doing so as a way of justifying his morally repugnant refugee policies to the American people.

United Nations Human Rights Council

Anyone with two grey cells to rub together can look at the roster of this group and know that it is a joke.

If the socialists in Germany are upset, that’s good with me.

It’s a little cheeky for Germans to talk about AMERICA being an enemy.

Once, the Germans were war-like and mean
But that couldn’t happen again.
We taught them a lesson in nineteen-eighteen
And they’ve hardly bothered us since then.

What a stupid, contradictory statement by the author! But seeing as the author is European, I guess he has no understanding of someone who puts his country first.

His statement should read:

Trump has a great interest in foreign policy, seeing it as an instrument to pursue his “America First” ideology.

Awe, da powah wittle huns can’t continue to screw us with impunity.

Hey, Krouts - shut your sputtering pie holes ... Or we might be forced to teach you a THIRD lesson, since the first two obviously did not drive the message deeply enough into your thick skulls.

Germans elected and reelected a bitter childless bag of flab and treason who openly hates them and seeks their replacement by hordes of Muslims.

They have nothing to lecture us about.

Cooperation to this writer is making a deal that favors everyone except the USA.

How is wanting to have a fair and equitable trade relatioinship somehow bad?

He calls you out on your freeloading and does not go along with the German political establishment’s attempts to abolish national sovereignty. Since their own political history in the 20th century caused such catastrophe, the smug German elites figure they’ll just level the playing field by getting everybody else to agree to make themselves impotent as well.

Nope! Not gonna happen. We will not go along with it. While we’re at it, it’s long past time you Drueckeberger (that’s “slackers” or “freeloaders” to those who don’t speak Deutsch) started paying for your own defense for a change. Oh and there’s no need for us to allow the sweetheart trade deals we gave you in the past either - like 2.5% tariff on cars vs your 10% tariff.

I do note that that German sense of irony is still intact though. This was published by Der Spiegel which means “mirror”. Y’all could stand to look at yourselves in the mirror for a change. Maybe you’d finally notice what a lot of the rest of us see (arrogant, smug, pushy/bossy, freeloading, mercantile/selfish while still managing to be quite preachy at the same time, etc)

Tschuss!

They came to replace the old UN Commission on Human Rights (started in 1946). For those who don’t remember....at some point in the Bush era (2006), most everyone agreed that UNCHR was faked out, and a major joke. Major abusers of human rights were on the commission, and even the intellectuals laughed over the nature.

In the brief 12 years that the UN Human Rights Council has existed....what exactly have they achieved that would require more than a 3x5 card? You can reach the same level of a ‘joke’. Why Spiegel chose to mention this in the opening statement is comical itself.
