It is an open carry as well as being able to concel carry without a permit. I will have to carry from now on but the moment you shoot one of them the entire family will sue you for the rest of your life, either way we lose which really pissed me off.
You are correct, you can move here a day old and at age 76 the will still say you are from away:)

Don’t some states have laws making a defensive shooter immune from civil suit if no criminal charges were brought?

Sadly, what I see happening is the cities imploding and people moving out and then a lot of militia's and vigilante justice taking over.
I hate to say it, since this is a civilized country, but white folks do need to stop being afraid to use lethal force to defend themselves.

I wouldnt say that. My dad mostly grew up in ME after being born in Newfoundland and spending half his childhood in upstate NY. And he was the youngest of a very big family. None of them was native MEer, parents from WI, but none of them ever felt ostracized. In fact, weirdest is how NE his siblings seem yet he is the one who spent most of his childhood there and he doesnt seem as NE as the elders. My grandpa died there at 98 after living there some 50+ years.
