Trump: 'We're Not Going to Give Any More Aid' to Countries That Send Illegal Immigrants to U.S.

(CNSNews.com) - "Let's do the right thing," President Trump told a gathering in Washington on Tuesday. He was speaking about legislation to stop unchecked illegal immigration.

But Democrats on Tuesday flatly refused to support legislation, saying it's unnecessary when President Trump could simply adopt a different "policy." Trump indicated that he may adopt a new policy -- one that denies financial aid to countries that send their people fleeing north.

Snip

"We have a chance. We want to solve this problem, we want to solve family separation, I don't want children taken away from parents," Trump said.

And when you prosecute the parents for coming in illegally, which should happen, you have to take the children away. Now we don't have to prosecute them, but then we're not prosecuting them for coming in illegally. That's not good.

We want to end the border crisis by finally giving us the legal authorities and the resources to detain and remove illegal immigrant families altogether and bring them back to their country. We have to bring them back to their country.

Now think of all that aid that we give some of these countries, hundreds of millions of dollars we give to some of these countries, and they send them up.

Well I'm going to go, very shortly, for authorization that when countries abuse us by sending their people up, not their best, we're not going to give anymore aid to those countries. Why the hell should we? Why should we?..."

Bang on the money. He is on tape and record. He needs not to get complacent - if that wall is not started, significantly started by 2020 - he is probably finished, or even if he rides the economy over the finish line the base will have deserted him. That would be sad. I have learnt to trust him - I’m pretty confident he’s going to make a stand in September.

8. When found trying to cross border, give them the option of 25 years in a fenceless prison in Nome, Alaska, or give them a rifle, an MRE, and a Make Mexico Great Again (MMGA) hat.

They need to fix their own mess.

Everyone in DC is afraid to look ‘uncaring’ in front of suburban white women voters.

What we need to do is re-frame the argument AND switch incentives for illegals.

This can be done and Trump’s the only person with the foresight and backbone to pull it off.

“I wish someone like Trump would run California.”

I disagree, better to have liberals concentrated in as few places as possible. A sane leadership might cause them to scatter.

And then what is happening in Texas and the Southwest border country will make today look like a garden promenade.

We are under no obligation to float them. We owe them nothing.

How about paying a Mexican bus service to carry them to a place near the US consulate in Merida while the adjudication of refugee status is in progress? Even if the US had to pay for food/shelter there that would be better than waiting for some idiot judge to free them in the US.

Some of them will probably claim they are refugees from the Mexican government, but that would still reduce their numbers in the USA.

I just don't understand how the border facilities are going to handle the flood.

The ‘flood’ of illegals will STOP on it's own when ILLEGALS ARE FLOWN back to their home countries and offered OUR protection THERE. (Under the protection of the US Embassy)

The incentive - the PRIZE FOR ILLEGALS - is to get here, break in to the United States, and be released into the United States - - ‘the prize’.

Short circuit toxic incentives by flying illegals - whole families - first class - (this will save us millions of dollars and also point out the waste of the ‘other way’)...home.

The United States can rent space from home countries and set up ‘holding centers’ IN MEXICO and IN Guatemala etc. UNDER our control ... THAT TAKES AWAY THE PRIZE AND PROTECTS PEOPLE WHO MIGHT REALLY BE SEEKING ASYLUM legitimately...

It also STOPS the reward from coming here illegally AND breaks the banks of Mexican Cartels. They send people here at great expense - we sent them back to where they came from...

We have the bigger bank balance....

>>Blocked by liberal judges.

How can a judge order the US to send aid money to other countries?

I like that plan too, but I would assume that lawsuits would follow, claiming that that puts refugees within striking distance of the government/gangs etc. they were fleeing. True, they would grab any excuse for a lawsuit, but this argument sounds logical.

I think what we do need is some safe places, far away from our borders, for them to wait for asylum claim resolution.

You're right. It's not hard to create 'safe places' far from our borders. Venezuela is broke - they'd be willing to lease us a large safe space to house illegals who's home counties won't lease us space.

The United States can protect illegals just as easily in their home countries as here... AND if they 'feel' safe we can release them into their home countries and give them a 'court date' at the Embassy. They can come back to the Embassy when we determine if they're to be accepted or not...

I suspect a higher percentage will show up than show up here in the United States.

People who are afraid can stay at the center - a large guarded space - until we rule on acceptance.

Should also include eliminating any so called law enforcement/military assistance programs that come with a fat cow full of cash. Especially for Mexico.

The govts wouldn’t. I would just put it out there officially that we won’t be doing illegal border asylum. Even if it just hit social media, and this the entire world was exposed to this fact, that would be a deterrent. We’ve never said “Do it the right way or it’s not happening.”

Wouldn't be a bad idea to stop US aid to states who elect a-holes who support unfettered immigration and no wall. Thanks aimhigh.

Nice thought but it won’t stop them. Too many employers in the US love them. Restaurants, catering, take out delivery all make their margin by hiring illegals. You want to stop them? Make it known to all, especially Mexico that facilitating the illegal entry and the presence on our borders of thousands of migrants, especially of those whose journey to our border Mexico assisted, that doing so will be construed as an act of war by Mexico against the United States.

Exactly. Don't talk it. Do it. For one thing, it puts President Trump in charge of the narrative. President Trump is at his best when he keeps pushing forward before the media can build up steam on the latest "outrage". This friggin' children thing has gone on too long, and if President Trump had advanced another "outrage" the barking dogs would have dropped their current bone and chased after the next one.

I agree 100%. The Mexicans do not even care and do not like Americans period. They get $100 Billion surplus in trade and we get the "Shaft"

This Illegal Immigration has gone long enough!!!

Thank you Miss Kay Baily Hutchison (Former Senator from the Great State of Texas).
