It would be cheaper to put them on a plane with first class tickets back to their home country to be detained on US Embassy grounds until they can be processed there.
Once they are here I very much doubt that can be legally done, but if it is legally possible to take them to consulates that would be terrific. The key is to stop processing anyone at the border that does not already have their paperwork in hand to legally enter.
The liberals have had years to tweak things and get liberal judges to rule in their favor. The way it is all set up now there is little choice but to release large numbers of illegals while they wait for a court date they will not show up for. Holding them until their court date costs tons of money and the bad optics of “children in internment camps” so they need to not get to our border to begin with.
