Not sure, but libs often do this kind of public spectacle when they’re looking for their next job. This clown is a politician, maybe it’s getting close to re-election or he’s looking to retire and get some lib job like a non-profit or charity scam. Hollywood actors do this kind of publicity stunt when they’re looking for their next part in a movie, it’s how they compete for jobs—they have to out-liberal each other and the biggest whacko gets the job.
