To your first question; yes, this very thing was going on during the Obama Admin. And, yes, again; it was a planned outrage. It wouldn't have mattered exactly what they would be outraged about; but, they needed something to stop Trump's momentum.
The economy and job market have gone from aenemic to robust. He had a positive meeting with N. Korea; thus, taking the temperature of that situation way down. He told the Euroweenies where to stick it -- it has been a good month for him. The Dems have nothing, nada, zilch to show the people that they are doing anything that betters the lives of the American people. Obstruct is not a policy.
Also, the hypocrosy of these Leftists is horrible; but, also, plain to see -- as in voters noticing.
The November elections are drawing near, they need to start throwing stuff against the wall of Trump to see what sticks. They don't have anything else.
Almost as good as that anecdote about Calvin Coolidge. A prominent journalist approached him at one of those DC cocktail parties back in the day and asked him for a statement because a colleague had bet him $10 he couldn't get more than two words out of "Silent Cal."
Coolidge just looked at him and responded "You lose!"
Not just the media. The Dem legislators do, too. When they’re pontificating they work in the phrase, “Trump’s policy”, and similar. When the low-I.Q. constituents hear it, they believe it.
Bill Clinton and old time Bush raised funds together. Named to head it all up by the mentally challenged younger Bush.
He’s all those things. Being in office would amount to a gag order for James. Let him be. He’s out voice.
