Charles’ brilliant and astute analysis of matter of importance were the gold standard for commentators. He will be sadly missed.

one thing we have to say, CK certainly deserves a tremendous amount of credit for managing to bounce back so amazingly well from being paralyzed. wonderful and highly inspiring for those of us with lesser, albeit still serious, afflictions or limitations. reminds me of the Helen Keller story...

I thought CK made a lot of sense MUCH (but not all) of the time, and he appeared to be a very decent human being, on top of it, too.

Prayers! and thanks, many thanks to CK for providing such a positive role model, example when dealt such a hard blow in life

One thing he should not be remembered for during time of grief for his family: called Donald Trump ‘temperamentally unfit for the office of President

Psychiatrist turned columnist - be objective; always be analyzing, diagnosing; never preach - draw out, educate; don't be affected by the hostility or nastiness of those you're dealing with; no matter how objectionable you find others, respond to their essential humanity and dignity; support, don't attack. About the only time Charles abandoned his roots was when he said of the "Rodeo Clown" Trump "Presidents don't talk like that" - he forgot that sometimes even therapists have to be provocative and confrontational to get their clients to view things a bit differently....

Chuck Lane said on Special Report tonight that "I'm not worthy to sit in this Charles Krauthammer chair" - no one is, Chuck. RIP Charles....

The thing I liked about him was that he stated his position clearly and unequivocal. He was very wrong much of the time, for example, when he was totally anti Trump and pro RINO but he at least stated his position without fear.

As has my Mother. She died at approximately 200PM today at age 85 of complications from Cancer. She went real quick, likely a blood clot or heart attack. We love her and will miss her dearly.
