i’m fine with detaining children. What else do you do with them? You can’t let them wander around alone.
We need to quit detaining anyone actually. Why aren’t they getting sent back as soon as they are caught?
My wife had an interesting suggestion. Why not hold them on decommissioned military bases? Housing, already built, some space for the kids to run around, they can be held together, the place is easily secured, there are plenty of kitchen facilities.
