It’s hard to tell where it truly went wrong for LiAngelo Ball and his father’s master plan.
Maybe it was when he left the UCLA basketball team after being arrested in China for shoplifting. Maybe it was when he shot 24.3 percent from three-point range in Lithuania and left the team earlier than expected. Maybe it was when he worked out for only the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors in the pre-draft process. Or maybe he was just never good enough at basketball to be drafted, as NBA executives believed.
Whatever the case, what happened is that LiAngelo Ball didn’t hear his named called during the 2018 NBA draft, despite the best efforts of some dedicated fans, and the 19-year-old will now move on to finding a team in free agency.

LBJ has made it known to the Lakers, if they’re serious about signing him, the drama/circus of the Ball family has to go, he doesn’t want to compete with it, LBJ wants to be The Show in L.A.
As a result the Lakers are now including Lonzo in trade offers so that all high profile NBA free agents on July 1st wanting to play with LBJ won’t have deal/compete with Lavar Ball’s drama.
I wonder how Daddy Ball is enjoying the Trump curse?

Ball was on no one’s draft list. He may get an invitation to camp but he is not good enough to crack a roster.
And the other Ball may not be a Laker for much longer. It’s all going wrong.
