Starve the beast (Comcast). I had Comcast triple-play and the cost kept going up from the $110/mo intro price to $207/mo, the last straw. They are the only game in town for internet so I dropped tv and telephone and downgraded to 15mb/s cable at $49.95 per month. Added Youtube TV for $40/month (need a Roku box or equivalent) it has all the channels we need including the locals (love it!) and we’re now paying $90/mo instead of $207. Don’t miss the land-line at all, the only people calling us on the land-line for the last few years were telemarketers. It is so quiet now in the evenings.

Diane Feinstein and her husband (Richard Blum) are (or were as of a few years ago) the majority shareholders in Comcast. (Thanks to commissions to Blum for selling US Govt R/E - decommissioned military bases and post offices.)
