MSNBC host Joe Scarborough took a shot at both President Trump and his supporters Friday, labeling both as “openly racist.”
The scathing comments during “Morning Joe,” which Scarborough co-hosts with Mika Brzezinski, came amid a highly controversial immigration debate over the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy that led to children being separated from their parents after coming across the U.S. border.
Scarborough leveled that people “cannot say, ’Oh, I’m just supporting him because he’s giving them hell in Washington.' No, he’s been openly racist, just like we said back in December of 2015, openly racist.
“And if you support him, then you’re supporting that, and you are that,” Scarborough continued. “It’s that simple. And that’s what we’ve come to now.”
The host shared similar remarks earlier in the show, following a discussion about the whereabouts of the separated children.

I might just be a lazy POS, deplorable, uneducated retard that spends his days at the Wal Mart sniffing out others of the same ilk but even I can see that a “zero tolerance policy” actually means FOLLOWING THE LAW.

I am openly opposed to criminals. Whether they are illegal Mexicans, illegal Central Americans, illegal Irish, illegal Polish, illegal Italians, illegal Africans, illegal Koreans (North or South), illegal Chinese, or illegal Australians. There is nothing racist about supporting the rule of law . . . or is Jody Scarborough one of those racists who doesn’t think other races are morally capable of following laws.
Welcome legal immigrants in the numbers and with the skills specified by Congress in legislation, wherever they come from, but only to the extent that their presence is helpful for the United States as a whole and for working Americans in particular. Deport all illegals. No exceptions.

I once watched the show.
Back then, Joe was one of Trump’s earliest supporters, I had thought. Really.
He seemed downright reasonable. But he switched. It may have been, because Trump did not offer him a job. For whatever reason, he spun.
Way back when, we both supported Trump. Now I do not watch him because frankly, I cannot see American television right now. But he changed. Bigtime.
Now he is just coming unglued.
Trump is still right there. Being exactly what he has always been.
But Scarborough has spun way around, and come unglued.
In my view.
Getting slow over there.
The left has a funny concept of zero tolerance. A child in school who eats a pop tart into the shape of a gun , or makes a finger gun is suspended or expelled. Enforcing immigration laws is racist.
I'm just not smart enough to figure it out.
