Have you ever had a DOD steak? Troops in the field get steak once in a while. It is a nice gesture there too, but it ain’t Waygu or Kobe I can attest. Thin, and about as tough as a boot. I suspect, but don’t know for certain, that these 534 steaks or how many are a “cut above”. Good move on the President’s part.
The press could give more trouble if they _did_ go through with it? What’s nice too, he is undoubtedly the kind of guy that will follow up on this and make sure those steaks actually get fed to the patients, caregivers and staff. I’m sure the sides are top drawer too, and dessert and the rest of it.
