Forty years ago the fear mongers were hyping global cooling and the coming ice age.
Exactly... We were taught about global cooling in school, I started in ‘71 and graduated in ‘83. It is why we banned all fluorocarbons which is the reason we lost the space shuttle when it lost a tile and those astronauts died, because it had foam when it first came into service until that was banned, not tiles they came up to replace the foam.
By 1988 they were changing to global warming and I immediately knew they were full of it and have argued the point every since. Simple logic our earth came out of an ice age before humans or man made hydrocarbons existed... Volcanoes can spew out more toxic gases in a day than mankind does in a month. Earth is on it’s own cycle that we dont control and that big glowing yellow ball that rises every morning has more to say about it than we do.
