Last month, the United Nations' International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) held a week-long conference geared towards making gun control an international priority. Now, the UN's Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, is wanting to regulate and control small arms.
During RevCon3, the conference on the programme of action on small arms and light weapons, Guterres had a message delivered on his behalf (emphasis mine):

"Regulating small arms is a unique challenge. It is not simply a question of addressing government stockpiles. Out of some 900 million small arms in the world, three-quarters are in civilian hands – the majority unlicensed."
Pretty sure the majority of mine ain't licensed or registered. Because unlike the other countries in the world, we have a 2nd amendment. Odd how some "backwards" locales have assclowns with actual select fire weapons roaming the streets and shooting full auto into the air to celebrate, well whatever. But us "civilians" with unlicensed weapons are the problem. Hey, u.n. FOAD!

There are upwards of 400 million guns in the USA.
No one is going to register or confiscate them.

Your precious UN should pack up and move to Paris. Or, Stockholm. Or, someplace else that gives a damn about your so called disarmament plans that won’t be foisted on us by you or any other tyrant, including home grown ones, for world “peace.”
I saw something last week that said during hunting season, there are 600,000 armed hunters in the Wisconsin woods, which alone would represent the 8th largest army in the world.
