Dear Left: American has declared war on you. First we elected Donald Trump instead of “her” and now we’re draining the swamp, cleaning out the traitors, rolling back the Obamanation, and making America great again.
The left can suck it.
It appears to me that wars are won by causing the other side to take on the greater number of casualties. I don’t see the left taking that many on. In their minds, losing the elections were only temporary.
The real issue, however, is the how the actual boots-on-the-ground conduct of the war will proceed. Where's the strategic analysis, the identification of primary theaters, the specific campaign goals, the organization of resources?
Why can't FR play a part in this process? After all, its original mission and intent - debating current events as presented in the mass media - has long been obsoleted. The primary media is now nothing more than another weaponized asset of the left. It no longer reports 'factual' news, but directed propaganda like Tokyo Rose & Lord Haw Haw. (Sure, people listened for entertainment, but anyone actually influenced was labeled a defeatist.)
The war is happening right here, right now. We should be participating in influencing/guiding the greatest challenge this country has faced in 150 years. Unlike he specific intent of the enemy we face today, neither Germany, Japan or the USSR ever incorporated war plans to conquer and rule the USA.
Grania, what I meant is to stop worrying/fidgeting and just deal with the current situation. While everything you said is true, it doesn't help move our objectives forward.
The proglibs have gotten noticeably more nutty just since then.
As we approach the mid-terms there may be unrecoverable/irreversible acts of violence, speech and positioning that will define the approaching election as absolutely changing the composition of the United States.
The proglibs know that if President Trump and his platform prevail they and their "progressives" are finished.
They will be a severe minority screaming at an unreceptive and uninterested majority.
They will also sink further into the psychosis of an alternate reality supported by an ever increasingly biased and lying "mainstream" media that is controlling them with no responsibility or consequences for the actions of the left.
Where does this lead the nation?

I’m really sick and tired of words. It is time for action, indictments, grand juries, chains, prison jump suits, handcuffs, guilty as charged findings followed by long prison sentences, el al. Only then will I and others like me be somewhat satisfied. You might wonder why I wrote ‘somewhat’ satisfied. Full satisfaction would have occurred if this whole process had been nipped in the bud a year ago. Would have been much easier back then.
