Truly a bad decision. Now every little business has to act as the tax arm of each of the 50 states. How ridiculous is that? And at what cost to the business and consumer?

The decision is indeed bad for small business.

On the other hand, internet commerce was killing the sales tax, the alternatives to which
such as income and property taxes, can be a whole lot worse for productive people.
