Communisms greates success after world war II was to define Nazism as right wing when it is actually another form of left wing socialism. The main difference being that the Nazis believed that the state did not need to own industry/resources, just control them. Otherwise thier practices are nearly identical.
The fascist v communist thing is a lot like the Sunni vs. Shiite thing. Two bad eggs of the same bird that hate each other.
