Fair is fair The anti-discrimination laws specifically states "sexual orientation" as one of the many categories covered. Nowhere in the anti-discrimination law is political affiliation mentioned. That was too slippery a slope to put into law.

Morally I agree but the law explicitly calls out protections toward sexuality but not political affiliation.
...a case of the law and morality being different.
