The Disney Kennedy and the Maryland Kennedy
are two different individuals. Kathleen Kennedy (of the Mass. Kennedy clan) was Lt. Gov. of Maryland.
She ran for Gov. and was soundly trounced by her
Republican opponent. Even Maryland Dems didn't like her!
