While Fox News continues to dominate in the world of cable, CNN’s audience continues to shrink, reports TV Newser. In all of cable last week (not just cable news), Fox News was number one in primetime, averaging an incredible 2.513 million viewers. Fox News even humiliated second place MSNBC, which averaged just 1.78 million primetime viewers.
But way, way, way down in 13th place, below even the Food Network, sits far-left CNN at number 13 and an average of just 914,000 viewers — which is about a third of Fox’s numbers.
In total day viewers, Fox News is again number one with 1.465 million viewers, and again humiliated second place MSNBC with just 962,000 viewers.
The conspiracy theorists who run CNN, however, are humiliating themselves with a seventh place showing of only 633,00 total day viewers.
Despite its longtime dominance, Fox News still managed to grow its total day audience by +4 percent when compared to last year. MSNBC grew by double digits. Meanwhile, CNN lost -5 percent of its primetime viewers when compared to last year.

I would have thought their headline news channel ran its course many years ago. I NEVER watched it and don’t see it even running in the airports.

We are Nielson participants and CNN - MSNBC get no hits from us.
Actually the Democrat Party and CNN are both failing together from self-inflicted wounds. It is absolutely amazing the neither of them has a clue as to their own internal destruction of themselves.
Viewers have abandoned CNN by the millions and voters have abandoned the Democrat Party by the millions!!! “Ya can lead a horse to water, but, you cannot make him or her drink”!!!
When there is breaking news, where do people go for the truth? Fox news.
Then CNN laughs, saying they’re not going to carry a Trump rally! What morons.
Then you find out that there are more democrats and indys at these rallys than republicans.
Those rallys are better than stand up comedy. Trump was hilarious in SC. Laughed my butt off a couple times.
Like saying he’d be in bad shape if he couldn’t laugh at himself, or telling guys not to go into politics if you wear a toupee. He says, “Anyone here in the audience wearing a wig?” lol
So Complete Nonsense Network is having trouble, that’s a good thing as Martha Stewart used to say.

Sure, but how many combined watch the ABC / CBS / NBC Nightly News, twenty or thirty Million?
Those Broadcasts, while not a wildly Partisan as CNN and PMSNBC always have a Leftist slant. It is as simple as choosing not to cover a Story that favors the Republicans. The Propagandists on those Networks are very good at what they do.
Their Bias is obvious in the first 30 seconds of the Broadcast if you aren’t already numb to it...

Bingo. I wonder what their actual ratings would be if they did not have the captured audience that CNN has, 24/7.
Every Navy ship I was on, there was only CNN on the mess tvs.
We at least we knew there was a mission coming down when the tvs went dark.
They show a lot of reruns of “Forensic Files.”
In airports I never see anybody watching those overhead TV screens, and I mean nobody. Everybody is on their phones or their laptops.
