North Korea is upgrading its only known nuclear research facility, satellite imagery has shown, despite ongoing negotiations with multiple world leaders and a pledge to abandon its weapons program.
The satellite photos, obtained by North Korea analysis outlet 38 North, indicate that the isolated regime is making numerous improvements to its Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center “at a rapid pace.”
The report comes just over two weeks after President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed an agreement that called for a denuclearized Korean peninsula.
38 North is a U.S.-based project that looks to gather the insight of several long-time observers of North Korea. The site, which is perhaps best known for its monitoring of Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons program, is affiliated with experts at both the Stimson Center and non-profit Foreign Policy Research Institute.
“Infrastructure improvements continue at Yongbyon,” Jenny Town, managing editor of 38 North, said via Twitter on Wednesday.
“Underscores reason why an actual deal is necessary, not just a statement of lofty goals,” she added.

They doesn’t really know what’s going on to the facility by looking at a Satellite photo. They’re not their personally to see what’s actually transpiring. It’s only speculation.

I’m sure the President doesn’t need the MSM to give him his daily intelligence updates nor to some snarky broad lecturing him.
I knew that the Press would be, unwillingly, and ally of President Trump.
They will be looking for the slightest sign that Kim isn’t cooperating and splash it all over the front pages. I like that.

More Deep State leaks of classified T/S sattelite imagery and analysis to try and humiliate the POTUS. If only our intel was as leaky involving what we did in Lybia, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Iran under Obama.
Times like this it would be nice to have a press with any credibility, but it’s not like Kim’s is any better, let’s be honest. I’m sure John Bolton is monitoring the situation closely, and therefore it hasn’t escaped the notice of the president.
Kim will either reform, or we’re going to war. That’s always been the equation, and it hasn’t changed.

I had a feeling that this whole NK opening up was a ploy that meant that they had figured a way they thought would work to hide further development.
I hope it is in the form of a B-52 Arc Light strike.
