The court is scheduled to hear the case, Janus v. AFSCME, to determine whether states violate their employees' First Amendment rights to require them to join public sector unions which they may not want to associate with. The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Wednesday in Janus v. AFSCME that nonunion workers cannot be forced to pay fees to public sector unions.

The case, one of the most hotly anticipated of the term, is the second in two days to hand a major victory to conservatives, following Tuesday's holding by the court that President Donald Trump's travel ban is constitutional. Some experts have said that a holding in favor of Janus would be the most significant court decision affecting collective bargaining in decades.

This is great, and certainly a correct ruling.

Public sector unions shouldn’t even exist.

Trump could repeal John Kennedy’s EO that allowed those unions in the first place but he’s probably not interested in that fight. Yet...

NO ONE with civil service protections should have the extra layer of unionized bargaining power. The taxpayers don’t need to be fleeced by a bunch of alleged public servants.

The pro-choice crowd on Twitter is having a cow. Looks like some choices are more deserving of freedom than others. Go figure.

True Conservatism. Right to unionize protected; forced to join union forbidden. Great news all week for true Conservatism.

“Public sector unions shouldn’t even exist.”

That is the gospel truth! There is NO justification or compelling need for ANY Taxpayer funded organization, agency or employee to be allowed or permitted to be unionized. None what-so-ever!

Disband and abolish ALL Public Sector unions, right now!

Non-Union workers should never have been forced to pay Union dues, since, they were able to vote for Bolshies.

I added to MSNBC ratings last night, to watch them lament what they call the “Muslim” ban being upheld by the Supreme Court.

Rachel Maddow and her boys were decidedly unhappy.

I’m sure they will be crying about this too.

Rachel didn’t cry last night. She only cries when the media stage events such as “Kids at the Border week”, as the media did last week.

This is a major finding, with enormous implications.

Public service unions are the last big refuge of unions in the United States.

They are a major source of Progressive power and funding. Think Wisconsin, writ large for all the United States.

Wow!
