How about those volcanoes. We could use al gore, Rosie O’Duhdonell, and Shrillary to serve as a stoppers on Hawaii and few of the others.

The adoption of clean energies to power electric grids won't be sufficient to meet the Paris climate targets established by the United Nations.

No kidding? Well... we should raise taxes on America so we can afford to move the earth's orbit a few feet further from the Sun.

No, we’re going to have to take all Whitey’s money, and then kill Whitey.

"We focused on the role of fossil fuel emissions that originate in industries like cement or steel making, fuel our transport sector from cars to freight to aviation and goes into heating our buildings," Shinichiro Fujimori, researcher for Environmental Studies and Kyoto University in Japan, said in a news release. "These sectors are much more difficult to decarbonize than our energy supply, as there are no such obvious options available as wind and solar electricity generation."

What a clueless twit…. wind and solar make virtually zero contribution to ‘decarbonizing an energy supply’.

What they really mean is “The only thing that will stop global warming is socialism.”

Read this report from the National Energy Testing Laboratory:

https://www.netl.doe.gov/energy-analyses/temp/ReliabilityandtheOncomingWaveofRetiringBaseloadUnitsVolumeITheCriticalRoleofThermalUnits_031318.pdf

BLUF: Solar and wind electricity production FELL during the early 2018 cold snap. Without coal & to a lesser extent natural gas — the grid would have melted down, resulting in some ugly blackout scenarios.

Green electricity isn't enough to curb global warming

Yeah, I know. Because it won't affect the climate one way or the other.
