Depressing?! This was AMNESTY. Why don’t they wise up and pass reform: fund the all, implement eVerify, end catch-and-release, end chain migration, end lottery, implement merit immigration. Put this in a single bill for up/down vote. Be done with this.
This bill was not what Trump asked for.
It did not include funding for the wall or mandate e-verify.
It did not include ending chain migration or the visa lottery.
I tout this was the Amnesty bill.

How the midterms turn out will dictate what will happen.
If Dems win, or gain significantly in the house, NOTHING will happen.
If R’s win big, you will see the political needle move, and something will likely happen
