Wow! What a rare find that is and the restoration is amazingly good! Those guys really know what they’re doing.

Hope you had good weather for the trek there and for the visit with History Channel. Were there many visitors are was it closed to the public?

It was pretty hot here....but it’s all relative. 97 isn’t 107. LOL!

I don't know who did the restoration but it's a beauty. It isn't the rarest piece though. They have four Prototype Lightweight Jeeps that were built for the 1943 Glider Program and they're each the only ones built. They scrapped the Glider Program. These four Jeeps are what blew Bob and his cameraman away the most.

I forgot to answer your question about visitors. We did have a few show up today. A couple of the volunteers took turns taking them through I order to keep them at a distance from Bob and the cameraman so as not to mess up the shots. But they got to be in the background at times so they’ll be on TV when the show airs. :-)

It was HORRIBLY hot and muggy - - oh my, it was muggy!! Hard-to-breathe muggy! We had some storms roll through around suppertime and they didn’t col things off much. Just left the air even soupier. UGH!
