Most Supreme Court justice went to Harvard or Yale Law School. It's the same incestuous group taught by the same liberal professors.
It's time to find people who went to law universities in the American heartland.
Amul Thapar looks good to me.
I can see it now. Trump appoints a young, attractive, intelligent women to the supreme court. And the Democrats have to decide whether to get nasty and take her out or hold back to keep from negatively affecting their midterm election chances. Get the popcorn ready.
Good time to break up the Yale/Harvard cartel on the court.
Like was mentioned: good to see some justices from the midwest & south instead of the same crew from the two coasts.
Most importantly...keep them around 50 years of age & younger.
Whoever Trump picked to do his judge picking is doing an outstanding job.
Thank God there’s no one in their 60’s on the short list....

Amy Coney Barrett would be attacked for her Catholicism, especially by Dianne Feinstein.
This would anger many Catholics and thereby help the Republicans win the Catholic vote in November.
Anyone but the Bush nominee.
Hardiman may have the inside track.
Amul Thapar, 49, once a U.S. attorney in Kentucky, is a favorite of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
********************************************
Any favorite of McConnell is an automatic NO, HELL NO for me.
Too many women on the court now. Look how they all vote.
Thomas Hardiman, 52, of Pittsburgh, is on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, along with Trumps sister, senior judge Maryanne Trump Barry. Hardiman came in second when the president chose Neil Gorsuch for the Scalia seat. Trump was known to think highly of Hardiman and to consider him a possibility for the next vacancy.
What has changed? Oh, Gorsuch no longer a choice. That’s what.
I like Barrett as she recently passed senate confirmation. She was challenged by Feinstein for her Roman Catholic beliefs and Barrett handled her deftly.....
Newsmax has a longer list more info. Info on the list that is the same list as President Trump used to pick his last USSC justice
