Contrary to every single New York Times editorial and opinion piece on the president’s “Muslim ban,” this week, the Supreme Court upheld the ban.
Or, as a Times op-ed put it back on Jan. 27, 2017: “(T)he order is illegal. More than 50 years ago, Congress outlawed such discrimination against immigrants based on national origin. …” — “Trump’s Immigration Ban Is Illegal,” by David J. Bier, immigration policy analyst at the Cato Institute.
For your immigration news, New York Times, maybe stop thinking you’re getting “both sides” by going to open borders activists at the International Refugee Assistance Project and, for the opposing view, open borders activists at the Cato Institute.
Last week, in a column that does not misstate the facts and the law about immigration, I covered some typical asylum and refugee admissions to our country, including Beatrice Munyenyezi. She was the Rwandan who got into our country by claiming to be a victim of the genocide that killed nearly a million people, even though she had helped orchestrate it.
Munyenyezi wasn’t the only participant in the Rwandan genocide who’s gotten in as a victim and then been unmasked as a perpetrator. So far, nearly 400 Rwandans granted special refugee status have been convicted of lying on visa applications about their role in the genocide. Great job, U.S. refugee admissions officials!

Ann has become such a disappointment, failing to acknowledge that President Trump has made many attempts to get funding for the border wall. Only to be thwarted by both Republicans & Democrats. Perhaps she wants him to emulate Obama and just use the power of the pen, which no doubt would also be rebuffed by the same Democrats & Republicans, and judges to boot.

Ann, that illogical blather makes you sound exactly like a liberal and look exactly like an unrepaired car after a side impact cruising along two years later.
Democrats will never be won over to any kind of restriction on immigration, so they don't even figure into the equation. We have GOP majorities in both House and Senate and still can't get this done, which means that the blame lies with the substantial number of GOP open borders enthusiasts who side with the Democrats on immigration, either for reasons of political correctness or because their donors are addicted to cheap immigrant labor (or both).

Excellent, witty writing style but I can’t always agree with her conclusions.
If she’s an idiot that must explain why she sells millions of books explainng her ideas, which most conservatives totally agree with. Some people, you might call them idiots, take her hyperbole too literally, not understanding that she is just keeping the pressure on. You might note that pres trump has never said a bad word about her. So obviously he isnt bothered by her chiding him.
She is technically right. Pres Trump has the absolute power to 1. Fire all obama leftovers, which he has not done. 2.order doj to turn over all withheld documents to congress, which he has not done 3. Fire rosenstein, sessions, wray and sessions, which he has not done.
When coulter chides trump for nOt doing things he has the power to do, she is right. Trump could order DOD to build the wall. He could order military personnel to the border, armed. He could do all sorts of things that he has not done.
So give us all a break. Criticism of trump for complaining about things that he has the power to correct is fair complaint.
She can’t write an article or make an appearance without saying that. Like a broken record, build the wall, build the wall, over and over and over

You mean just like all the trump supporters at every trump rally?
I’m a huge Ann Coulter fan. She’s rather one-note on the wall (or lack thereof), but she was the first pundit to say that Trump would win both the nomination and the presidency. She was an early and vocal Trump supporter.
When the wall is built (soon, please God!), she’ll be the first to acknowledge it.
